Our Story
Family owned, still on site
Atlanta Custom Landscapes was founded in 1998 as a family-owned design/build firm. Between Anthony, Bo and Ryan, the leadership team brings decades of combined hands-on experience in design and installation.
Most design/build firms hand a finished project off and never see it again. We planted it, we built it, and we are still the people you call afterward — which tends to make you very careful about what you put in the ground.

We design and build across Barrow, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett and Walton counties — and we travel farther for the right project. Specimen trees come from our own 300-acre farm, so the material is sourced, not scavenged.

Frequently asked questions
Are you insured and licensed?
Yes. We hold all necessary licenses for our area and we carry insurance on every project.
Some larger construction projects require special licenses and certifications. We have trusted members of the landscaping community that we work with for those cases, and we coordinate them so you are not managing three separate contractors.
What kind of landscaping do you do?
All kinds — but our unique expertise comes from operating our own tree farm for over a decade.
We grow deciduous trees such as Forest Pansy Redbuds and all varieties of Japanese Maples and oaks. We grow specialty trees including tree-form Gold Mop Cypress, Blue Atlas Cedar and Deodar Cedar, evergreen shrubs, and privacy trees such as large tree-form Camellia, Cryptomeria and Green Giant Arborvitae.
We currently have more than 10,000 trees across 300 acres at Big RAC Farm LLC.
What areas do you serve?
Metropolitan Atlanta and beyond. We build in Barrow, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett and Walton counties. If you are just outside that footprint, ask — we travel for the right project.
Do you handle pools, or do you subcontract them?
Pools and spas are part of our design/build work, and the surrounding hardscape, water features, planting and lighting are all designed together rather than bolted on afterward. Specialty licensed partners handle the scopes that legally require them, under our coordination.
What happens after the landscape is installed?
We walk the finished project with you, explain how to care for new plantings, and remain the people you call if something needs attention. The same crew that built it is still accountable for it.
